Advocacy for the Magna Carta for Students Bill

The NYC aims to provide a middle ground in the long struggle towards the creation of a Magna Carta for Students, providing for student participation in policy making, yet respecting the proprietary of rights of school owners.

Consultations were held in the five area offices of the NYC to consult students in the area regarding the Magna Carta for Students Bill and other advocacies related to it. A policy paper was also drafted to assist in the lobbying efforts towards the passing of this bill.
