CHRISTOPHER LAWRENCE S. ARNUCO JR.

Having been appointed at the age of 21, Chris is the youngest appointed commissioner at the NYC. Before buckling down to work at the NYC, he was the Assistant Presidential Liaison Officer for Western Mindanao and then the Chief Executive Assistant for the Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone and Freeport Authority.

He graduated from the Ateneo de Zamboanga University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree Major in English. He served as the Chairperson for External Affairs and concurrent Secretary General of the Western Mindanao Alliance of Student Councils. He was elected Senate President during his stint at the Summer sa Senado Internship Program of the Senate of the Philippines.

Chris is committed to the promotion of leadership training and peace awareness among the youth.
