Hi, issa!
Have you read the program profile on our website already? I'm currently organizing the program managers (that is, the people who are implementing our programs) to jump in to answer questions directly. If you're not in that much of a hurry, I can get you some more info from Ms. Cyndi, YEP's PM.

I would also like to learn about the YEP. We at BROOD also have young entrepreneurs, in fact me and another BROOD member had tried to organize a webhosting company at www.filcode.com and I wonder if we could receive such assistance?
Thanks again and more power!

Shen, are you refering to me?
Anyway I would like to ask about this program as well because I want to train my peers to encourage them in entrepreneurship. We are mostly 3rd and 4th year while some are graduates already and starting anew. I think this is really a great opportunity to survive the saturated employment hunting. In return you provide employment to others.

Yes Xeon.. in fact when I posted this I had been thinking of you and your peers. Well despite the fact that you are really skillfull and all I think that otu main problem there is in fund sourcing because we definitely need support in creating a proud pinoy industry and of course support from the government.

Hi Nice,
Please send us a letter expressing your interest in the program. Though as of this moment, we are putting on hold the implementation of the program due to some concerns that need to be addressed first. At present, we are trying to partner with an NGO in Davao and explore how it can be replicated in the region.
Please address your letter to RAUL DOMINIC BADILLA, Executive Director, National Youth Commission, 4th Floor Bookman Bldg., #373 Quezon Avenue, Quezon City.

YEP is a program for groups of young Filipinos who are eager to become entrepreneurs. However, due to changes in the leadership in NYC, the program is expected to run fully next year. We will have a soft re-launch of YEP in December 2005.
I don't have available data on the program for your mail. We will let you know as soon as the new program takes off.
However, our Unilever partnership is still ongoing. They are still on trial period for the groups they have selected in some areas in Metro Manila. After their evaluation on the first batch of sub-distributors for Unilever products, we will organize more groups.

Yes, the NYC is currently distributing copies of the Medium Term Youth Development Plan which will serve as guide for youth organizations in the country in implementing their programs. You can ask for copies from the Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation Division at the NYC Central Office in Quezon City.
