what is this national youth parliament all about?
The NYP is a three day convention of youth leaders held every two years wherein policy recommendations are formulated to address youth issues, and serve as government's guide in policy formulation and program development.
This year, the NYP had the very important task of being the sounding board for the 2005-2010 Medium-Term Youth Development Plan (MTYDP), which will direct all government efforts towards youth development for that period of time.
The NYP will be convened again by 2006.
