IN CASE ANYONE IS INTERESTED (OR IF YOU
KNOW SOMEONE WHO KNOWS SOMEONE
WHO IS INTERESTED...)

I am Deo Bugaoisan, Assistant Program Manager
of the Expansion and
Production Services Division of GMA-7's News
and Public Affairs.:)

Our group is currently looking for stringers for our
GMA Pinoy TV program Review Philippines, hosted
by Mike Enriquez.

The show is a weekly wrap-up of top stories in
the Philippines,
delivered in English; target audiences are viewers
of GMA PINOY TV in
general and specifically, Fil Ams in the U.S. The
program airs every
Sunday evening (9 PM San Francisco time). Taping
is every Monday at 10
AM (Philippine time).

The qualified applicant is expected to contribute to
the show's Film
Am Round-up All Over the World Segment, which
will hopefully be
implemented this coming January. Baka naman you
know someone who
might be interested in bringing the Philippines to
Filipinos,
regardless of their geographical and social location
in the world.

The segment is basically a what's new report from
heavily populated
Filipino-American areas in the United State and
other parts of the
world: New Jersey, Chicago, Los Angeles, San
Francisco, Hawaii, plus
Japan, Guam and eventually the Middle East. We
will be hiring at least
2 candidates per/area.

Details:

* Stringer should be a resident in one of the
identified areas
* Should have his/her own camera
* S/he will be paid $200 per story/per week,
excluding transportation,
tape, and shipping charges.
* His/her responsibility is to shoot and file
newsworthy stories
(pitched or assigned) relevant to the Filipino
community in his/her
area.
* The stringer will not VO the report. Raw materials
will be sent to the Philippines.
* Candidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree
or diploma,preferably Journalism, Broadcasting, or
any communication-related field.
* Candidate should possess strong communication
skills, and relevant
experience in the field of broadcast journalism
Interested applicants should submit resume,
sample works, and other relevant materials for
evaluation, to the following address:

Thank you so much and God bless!
