Has your organization done a great project this year, one you really are proud about?

Do you hear a lot of the people around you (friends, program beneficiaries, teachers, etc.) telling you that you and your organization has accomplished something great?

Was your organization's project relatively easy to do, and you could actually see it being implemented in other areas with similar problems?

If you answered "yes" to all or any of the questions above, I strongly encourage you to join the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations this year.

A grand prize of P50,000 awaits the lucky organizations chosen. You will also have the chance to interact and share your stories with the representatives of the top 20 youth organizations in the country.

- Accomplished Entry Form
- Certification from School or Community head attesting the existence of the organization and the veracity of the information submitted
- Letter of Recommendation from an upstanding member of the community
- Profile of the organization (not more than 3 pages, short bond paper size, containing a brief description of the organization, background, programs and track record)
- Profile of the project entry (not more than 1 page short bond paper size, containing project description, site, timetable, resources used and level of community involvement)
- Photo documentation (not more than 3 pages short bond paper size)
- Registration to the Youth Organization Registration Program or YORP (YORP and TAYO documents may be processed at the same time)

Deadline for submission is 31 January 2005.

We hope that you take the chance and see if your organization has what it takes to be part of TAYO.

TAYO na!

Where do we submit accomplished TAYO forms?! And what about the ages of the members? Would it be ok if we have 2 members who are currently 14 years old? (age bracket indicates that group must have members from 15-30 years old only)

Hi, orangee.

Please submit your accomplished TAYO entry forms, YORP form (if your org isn't registered with us yet) and all other needed documents to:
TAYO Secretariat
National Youth Commission
4/F Bookman Building,
373 Quezon Avenue, Quezon City

And yeah, it's ok if you've got members who are slightly younger (or even older) than the 15-30 age bracket, just as long as they comprise the majority.

We'll be waiting for your org's entry! Inform us when you've sent it, ok? Good luck! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Please download the form at youth.net.ph. if you download the TAYO magazine, it's also included in the end.

Some areas have received their forms. If you give us your location, maybe we can tell you where you can get forms in that area. All our Area OFfices (Baguio, Naga, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro and Zamboanga) have copies also. You can find their addresses at the site.

You can also register in this forum and send us your e-mail address so we can send it to you.
