A one- day forum that gathered top Chief Executive Officers and Chief Finance Officers from all over the Zamboanga Peninsula and business tycoons from the metropolis to share and discuss among colleagues in the business arena, ideas of innovation and expansion and other possible business portals that would level up the area into a more progressive and equally competent region in Mindanao. With the theme, Forging the Leadership Edge: Leading Strategic Change, Leveraging Innovation , it was the design to have Chief Executive Officers and Chief Finance Officer on the event.

Kabataan sa Mindanao NATIN is the 8 th Component of the 10- point agenda of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo for Mindanao. This component primarily aims to address youth issues and concerns that need to be given attention. Among these issues are entrepreneurship and employment, environment, health, sports, culture, peace, and development. 817 trained peace shepherds are now all over Mindanao advocating for peace and development in the region.

Republic Act No. 9344 (House Bill No. 3279), otherwise known as An Act Establishing a Comprehensive Juvenile Justice System and Delinquency Prevention Program, creating the Office of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention under the Department of Justice Appropriating Funds Thereof and for other purposes. This bill seeks to establish a comprehensive juvenile justice system that will focus on the accountability of the offender, the impact of the crime on the victim and the community, and the ways in which offenders can repair the harm they have done. The essence of the bill is that of restorative justice, which some developed countries such as Australia, Belgium, Canada, England, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, Sweden, Uganda and the USA now practice.

Humanity Towards Oneness (H 2 O): Working for Peace in Mindanao

Humanity Towards Oneness, popularly known as H 2 O, is a peace and leadership training seminar done in six regions in Mindanao. Funded by the U.S. States Department, in partnership with the IVP-Philippines Inc., H2O, through NYC, gives trainings and monitors the different projects the participants are currently undertaking.

The Manila Declaration emphasizes the united stand of all the member countries on different youth issues and concerns.

This program was designed to help young leaders better understand bill drafting, bill making, and the long, rigorous process of law making. It also involved participants in research and witnessing floor deliberations pertaining to a particular bill.
