TAYO SEARCH EXTENDED
The Search for the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations is extended!
Interested organizations may still submit their project entry to the National Youth Commission's TAYO Secretariat until 30 June 2007.
At stake are P50,000 cash grant and a hand crafted trophy for the ten selected organizations.
The requirements are five copies of the following:
- Organization Profile (one page, short bond paper)
- Project Entry Profile (three pages, short bond paper)
- Photo/Project Documentation (three pages, short bond paper)
- Certification attesting to the existence of the organization (one page, coming from school official for school based organizations or local government officials if community based organizations)
- Completely filled up Entry Form (including YORP registration number). Non-YORP registered organizations can send in their registration documents together with their TAYO application.
Project entries will be judged according to the following criteria:
- Impact of the Project Entry to the recipient community
- Social Mobilization (involvement of the local community in the implementation efforts)
- Innovativeness of the project entry
- Sustainability and Probability of Duplication (Can the project be continuously implemented? Can other areas hold similar projects to respond to their problems?)
