Call for Applications for the Social Travelling Camps for 2010
Hanoi, Vietnam

Background:

The Social Jeunesses Vietnam (SJV), a non-profit, non-governmental organization promoting values of solidarity, peace, tolerance through young citizenship projects to improve society during and after the volunteerism and a full member of CCVIS (UNESCO) and NDVA, a partner of YAP and Alliance, is hosting various short-term voluntary work camps.
The camps vary from environmental, educational, art, transportation and social work. One traditional characteristic of travel camps originating from work camps is that both international and national volunteers organize voluntary activities, discussions, exchange parties, school visits and sports programs. The new features of Social travelling camps are to expand voluntary fields into environment, transportation, and culture as well as to help and arrange short excursions for volunteers with reasonable price, high quality, and diversified cultural and recreational activities at weekends.
