PAYM-SYF ASIAN YOUTH LEADERS' FORUM 2007 Theme: “Insights to Corporate Social Responsibility In Asia : YOUth Speak” The People's Association Youth Movement (PAYM) Singapore and the Shanghai Youth Federation (SYF) will be jointly organizing the Asian Youth Leaders' Forum on August 16 to 17, 2007 at the Waterfront Conference Centre in the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, Singapore. Objectives " To provide opportunities for young leaders from the different parts of Asia to share ideas and express their views on the Asian platform " To strengthen the strategic alliances between the various youth organizations in the Asian region Criteria " Between the ages of 18 to 40 Focus for discussion " Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the Environment Each country paper should be typed written, font type “Times New Roman” and font size 13 in not more than three pages. The country paper should provide information of the following for all topics stated above: " Overview of CSR in home country All applications must be made on the official registration forms. All registration forms including participants' photograph and country paper must be emailed to Ms Marielou Chua at [email protected] on or before July 25, 2007. Participants must provide two (2) colored pass-port sized photos (3.5cm x 3.5cm) scanned in 300 dpi resolution and above and in jpeg, qif or bitmap format. Please name the file as follows: family name, first name (as they appear in the passport). Participants will shoulder roundtrip air fare while the organizers will provide the accommodation from August 16 to 19 2007 at the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel. Two participants of the same gender will be given twin-sharing rooms. Meals from August 16 to 19 will be provided by the organizer as well as transport for the field visits and functions; transportation to and from the Singapore International Airport will also be arranged for arrival and departure of all participants. The dress code for the Opening Ceremony on August 17 is formal (shirt and tie or lounge suit). The participants are encouraged to wear their national costumes during the Welcome Dinner on August 17.
