The International Youth Centre (IYC), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is organizing the International Seminar on Youth Organizations as a Non formal learning Institution on February 24 to March 2, 2008 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Objectives:
- To enlighten leaders of youth organizations on the importance and relevance of non formal learning in the context of youth development
- To educate youth leaders about effective approaches in non formal learning that are appropriate for youth and youth development
- To share experiences on non formal learning models that youth organizations from various countries have adopted
- To discuss and recommend non formal learning approaches that can be applied in addressing global youth issues
