The 20 th International Youth Forum Background: The International Youth Forum began in 1990 in order to enhance youth's awareness on global issues and their friendship, based on a special fund created by the Ministry of Sports and Youth of Republic of Korea. This year's forum with the topic, “Climate Change and Green Development” will be hosted by the Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family of Republic of Korea and will be organized by the National Council of Youth Organizations in Korea (NCYOK). The event aims to make youth involved in dealing with climate change and in the process of green development, and to strengthen and improve cooperation and mutual interest among the youth in the world. Venue and Date: The event will be held in Seoul and Chungbuk, Republic of Korea on Aug. 18 to 25, 2009. Participants' Eligibility:
