Background
The Asian Youth Forum (AYF) is an international youth event which brings young people from across Asia for academic seminars, intercultural workshops, social events and interpersonal exchanges.
 The AYF aims to promote international understanding, intercultural communication and leadership skills through the medium of English-as-an- international- language.

Application Requirements and Procedures

  • Applicants must be Asian university students age 18 – 25 with an interest in Asia and a good command of English
  • Asian EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teachers attending PAC conferences can bring students from their home countries. “AYF national delegations” from ELT (English Language Training) associations in Asia such as Japan (JALT), Korea (KoTESOL), Thailand (Thai TESOL) and Russia (FEELTA) are usually requested.
  • Student delegations from Pacific nations in Asia and individual Asian students can also apply and will be selected by our AYF committee to attend the Forum.
  • Interested parties can apply online thru AYF website, www.ayf8korea.weebly.com.

Expenses
            Applicants need to pay round-trip travel expenses to the Forum from their home countries and US$200 participation fee to cover one-week accommodation, meals etc.
